This movie was a little before it's time and took a while to catch on, but is a classic. The reimaged BSG was greatly influenced by Blade Runner. Tricia Helfer said in an interview that when she got the part as number 6 she ask Eddie Olmos about how to play the part and he told her to watch Blade Runner. You will also notice a lot of resemblace between the BSG weapons and the BR weapons.
